Mairead C. Kane

Classical player and teacher in Cork

  • 🇮🇪 Cork, Munster, Ireland
  • Cork Orchestra
  • Since 1995
  • English
I play classical and gospel. I started in 1995 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I walk the dog by the river.

More about Mairead

I write my first song when I was 20. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Mairead: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
