I've coached swimming at Nairobi Community Club since 1981. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Maina
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
