Maina Rashidi Athumani
Mentor in design and recovery
- 🇰🇪 Kikuyu, Kiambu, Kenya
- Kikuyu Youth Network
- Since 1991
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 770 people through Kikuyu Youth Network.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Maina
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Maina: Any gift helps me keep running a free monthly workshop.
