Maina Kiptoo Tembo
Taught music at Mukono Boys' School
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- Mukono Boys' School
- 1999 to 2011
- English
For twelve years I was the music teacher at Mukono Boys' School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 550 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Maina
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Maina: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
