I coached rowing at Kikuyu Crescent Community Club from 2011 to 2025. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
