I taught religious studies and environmental science at Thika Academy, Thika. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Maina
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Maina: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
