Maina Bakari Mukasa
History teacher at Hope Primary School, 2016 to 2024
- 🇰🇪 Naivasha, Nakuru, Kenya
- 2016 to 2024
- English, Swahili
For eight years I was the history teacher at Hope Primary School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Maina
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
