Mai Nanami Uchida
Traditional drumming player and teacher in Sakai
- 🇯🇵 Sakai, Osaka, Japan
- Sakai Quartet
- Since 1987
- English, Spanish
I've played traditional drumming since 1987, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Mai
I write my first song when I was 16. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Mai: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
