Mai Miyazaki
23 years teaching physics in Tokyo
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Highland Public School
- 1993 to 2021
- English, Japanese
I taught physics at Highland Public School in Tokyo from 1993 to 2021. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 1,010 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mai
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
