Mai Haruka Fujii

Spanish and early years teacher, Setagaya

  • 🇯🇵 Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan
  • Beacon Middle School
  • Since 1986
  • Japanese
Beacon Middle School is my second home. I teach Spanish there since 1986, mostly Grade 4. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Mai

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
