Mahmoud Salim Mebarek

Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices

  • 🇪🇬 6th of October City, Giza, Egypt
  • The 6th of October City Shop
  • Since 1978
  • English
My trade is weaving. I opened my own shop in 1978 in 6th of October City and I'm still there most mornings. I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I run most mornings.

What gifts mean to Mahmoud: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
