I taught home economics at Jacaranda Middle School in Bhaktapur from 2005 to 2019. Most days I taught Year 10, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
