Mahesh De Silva
Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Phoenix Workshop
- 2010 to 2025
- English, Sinhala
My trade is auto repair. I opened my own shop in 2010 in Colombo and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 10 years later for another job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mahesh
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Mahesh: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.

You fixed our roof in 2024 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Bloemfontein.
