I've been a nurse for 30 years, most of them in mental health at Greenfield Regional Medical Center in Athens. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm still learning every day.
