I've been a nurse for 36 years, most of them in home care at Highland Regional Medical Center in Katowice. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
