Maëlle Da Silva
Welding for nine years in Saint-Étienne
- 🇫🇷 Saint-Étienne, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France
- Old Saint-Étienne Trades Guild
- 1996 to 2005
- French
I've worked in welding from 1996 to 2005. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 430 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm learning the guitar.
More about Maëlle
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Maëlle: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
