Madhu Oberoi
16 years teaching geography in Howrah
- 🇮🇳 Howrah, West Bengal, India
- Howrah Secondary School
- 1993 to 2013
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 20 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 540 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Madhu
If you were in my the youngest children class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Madhu: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me geography in 2005 at Howrah Secondary School. I still remember the end-of-term party.
