For 38 years I was the history teacher at Baobab Secondary School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Madhavan: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me history in 2016 at Baobab Secondary School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected!

I was in your the final-year class class in 2009. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Kinondoni.
