Madhavan R. Kurup
Master of upholstery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India
- The Lakeview Workshop
- 1978 to 1991
- English
I've worked in upholstery from 1978 to 1991. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 250 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 20 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
