Madhavan Balakrishnan
Retired accounting teacher from Pune Middle School
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- 1981 to 2012
- English, Tamil
I taught accounting at Pune Middle School in Pune from 1981 to 2012. Most days I taught Year 7, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 1,670 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Madhavan: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
