I teach history and English literature at Sunrise Middle School, Los Angeles. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 780 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

You taught me history in 2015 at Sunrise Middle School. I still remember the long bus ride home.
