26 years teaching home economics in Baton Rouge
- 🇺🇸 Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States
- Baobab Public School
- 2006 to 2021
- English, French
For 15 years I was the home economics teacher at Baobab Public School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Madeline: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
