I taught English literature at London Girls' School in London from 1995 to 2020. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

What gifts mean to Mackenzie: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
