I coached football at Dayton Youth Club from 1991 to 2003. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
More about Mackenzie
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
