I'm a calligraphy artist based in Machakos. I've been making things since 1990 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I make terrible puns.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Macharia: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
