For 15 years I have been the history teacher at Nairobi Public School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 270 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Macharia
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Macharia: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
