Macharia Bakari Mbwambo
Mentor in public speaking and design
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Since 1991
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,610 people through Kasarani Learning Hub.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Macharia
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Macharia: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
