Maarten Dirk Hermans

Retired home economics teacher from Eindhoven Academy

  • 🇳🇱 Eindhoven, North Brabant, Netherlands
  • Eindhoven Academy
  • 2001 to 2012
  • Dutch, French
Eindhoven Academy was my second home. I taught home economics there from 2001 to 2012, mostly Grade 8. I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Maarten

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Maarten: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
