Lydia M. Matthews
Youth gymnastics coach and mentor
- 🇦🇺 Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
- Melbourne Football Club
- 2018 to 2025
- English
I coached gymnastics at Melbourne Football Club from 2018 to 2025. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.

If you played for me, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

What gifts mean to Lydia: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
