My trade is bicycle repair. I opened my own shop in 1992 in Bakersfield and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Lydia
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
