I taught biology at San Jose High School in San Jose from 2002 to 2013. Most days I taught Year 10, and I never turned anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Lydia: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
