Lwazi Petersen

Oud player and teacher in Polokwane

  • 🇿🇦 Polokwane, Limpopo, South Africa
  • Polokwane Band
  • 1993 to 2002
  • English
I play oud and sitar. I started in 1993 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Lwazi

I wrote my first song when I was 17. It was terrible and I still love it.
