Lwazi P. Davids

16 years teaching home economics in Pietermaritzburg

🇿🇦 Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
Pietermaritzburg Academy
Since 2009
English, Afrikaans

I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm still learning every day.

More about Lwazi

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

Subjects taught

Home economics Art Religious studies

What gifts mean to Lwazi: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
