Lwazi M. Pretorius

Coached softball for 13 years in Soweto

  • 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Soweto Youth Club
  • Since 2013
  • English, Zulu
I've coached softball at Soweto Youth Club since 2013. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. I'm still learning every day.

You coached me in 2022. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Mombasa.
