Luuk Sven Van der Heijden

Youth volleyball coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇱 Utrecht, Utrecht, Netherlands
  • Utrecht Sports Club
  • Since 1997
  • Dutch
I'm a volleyball coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 1,280 kids fall in love with the game. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Luuk

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Luuk: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
