Lungile T. Jones
15 years teaching physical education in Soweto
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Lotus Public School
- Since 2018
- English, Afrikaans
For eight years I have been the physical education teacher at Lotus Public School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
More about Lungile
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Lungile: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
