Lungile R. Pillay
Painter, potter and teacher at Old Cape Town Gallery
- 🇿🇦 Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa
- 1986 to 2014

I got into embroidery as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
Most of my work is inspired by the sea. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Lungile: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
