For 24 years I was the history teacher at Bloemfontein Technical College. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Lungile
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
