Lungile E. Ndlovu
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇿🇦 Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
- The Pietermaritzburg Shop
- 1999 to 2011
- English
I'm a thatching specialist. If you live around Pietermaritzburg, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Lungile
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Lungile: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
