For eleven years I ran the baseball program at Surakarta Redwood Community Club in Surakarta. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Lukman: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
