I teach home economics at Kingsway Academy in Oakland since 2003. Most days I teach first-year students, and my door is open at lunch.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
