I taught economics at Queensway High School in Raleigh from 2004 to 2024. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I never once raised my voice.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
