Luiz Thiago Silva

30 years teaching computer science at Mount Pleasant State University

  • 🇧🇷 Santos, São Paulo, Brazil
  • Mount Pleasant State University
  • Since 2011
  • Portuguese
I've spent 15 years as a lecturer in computer science at Mount Pleasant State University in Santos. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I sing in a choir.

More about Luiz

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.

What gifts mean to Luiz: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
