Luiz José Figueiredo

Calligraphy and oil painting artist

  • 🇧🇷 Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  • Old Petrópolis Studio
  • 1990 to 2010
  • English, Portuguese
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1990 at Old Petrópolis Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Old Petrópolis Studio, which keeps me honest.

More about Luiz

I've had 3 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
