Luiz Edson Albuquerque

French and biology teacher, Guarulhos

  • 🇧🇷 Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil
  • Guarulhos Girls' School
  • Since 1980
  • English, Portuguese
For 46 years I have been the French teacher at Guarulhos Girls' School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've run the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.

More about Luiz

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Luiz: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
