Luís Rafael Alves

Master of tailoring, now teaching apprentices

🇧🇷 Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Little Duque de Caxias Works
1993 to 2023
Portuguese

I've worked in tailoring from 1993 to 2023. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,590 apprentices. I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm learning the guitar. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Luís: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
