For 19 years I ran the baseball program at Bayview Athletic Club in Veracruz. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
