Luis G. Ruiz
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇽 Coyoacán, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- The Sunrise Shop
- 2002 to 2015
- Spanish
My trade is tiling. I opened my own shop in 2002 in Coyoacán and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Luis: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
