I coached cricket at Campinas Youth Club from 2006 to 2019. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Luís
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Luís: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
