Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Hialeah, Florida, United States
- Hope Community Club
- Since 2004
- English, French
I've coached rowing at Hope Community Club since 2004. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Luis
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Luis: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
